Are you there for me?
A psalm for today
In love’s delusions and confusion,
Are you there for me?
In this anger issuing forth from me,
as from some volcano bursting sides,
Are you there for me?
In my pain pressing constantly
with irritations of intense demands,
Are you there for me?
In humiliation of the laugh on me
of the enemy squeezing the knot on me,
Are you there for me?
In the triumph of my days
when things are pleasing and well done,
Are you there for me?
In my heights, the warm nights
when I am swimming free within the sea,
Be there for me.
On the plain, and in the rain
as I walk, and talk and take the strain,
Lead me.
In the deep, the very steep
when days are dark and nights are chill,
Be with me still..

Wonderful poem/psalm, Bob.

Thank you very much. Inspiring and inspired! Somehow resonates with Jesus’ claim: I am the bread of life
