The Season of Creation: Taizé-styled Meditation & Cop 26

Dear friends and followers of my blog,

I hope you have been surviving the pandemic and are well. Within a number of Christian denominations it is the Season of Creation when the focus is on the ennvironment and climate change. I recently produced a Season of Creation Reflection for our Taizé group focused on Cop 26 and its goals. With chants and a reflection the service is just over an hour in length.

I suggest that you take your time in listening to this reflection. Don’t hurry. Engage it prayerfully over a number of days. The chants will help you to do this. There is also an 8 minute time of silence. Try not to think of anything during this time. There is nothing to say before the enormity of climate change – just breathe and through breathing you will remain present.

There are prayers for you to enter – in the southern hemisphere Spring has arrived. Allow the words and images of this presentation to speak to you.

It is a Zoom recording of the service, which is not the very best quality, but I think you will find that you can follow it, almost smoothly.
